It was safe to say the last few days were... well certainly not what Jason had expected. Even his nieve hopeful self could not have anticipated his quest having the level of success it had. Chance meeting with the witch he had been seeking, finding her far from the wisened crone he had presumed to encounter, had she been real in the first place. That she went so far as to heal his shredded scar tissue, without really asking for anything in return... well nothing that had not been more than freely given, for yes she was certainly as far from a crone as he had ever seen.
Memory of the warmth of her body beside his led to a widengrin spreading across his handsome features. Viridian gaze tracking down her back to the generous swell of her backside as he followed her through her swamps, her garb doing little to hide herbform from his esger eyes. Steven turning to gaze intently at him as if sensing eyes lingering upon her. Friendly demeanor of her tail feeling slightly more... chaotic... after the acts of the previous night. Of course Jason was undeterred and reached to scratch between it's ears, a pause and look over her shoulder with a raised brow, the only response given by Wish. Still he had yet to be graced with her given name, though the reality of it was, Jason liked the name he had given her in original jest, it felt apt and accurate enough that any other would pale to lacking comparison. Silent roll of amber orbs and she turned back to the path before her, Jason following in close attendance to her footfalls, he did not desire another impromptu mud bath, certainly not if he was unsure of their destination, and if it was to be their parting. She had seemed to enjoy his company, certainly some aspects of it, and otherwise put up with his novelty perhaps, but there must be a reason she preferred the solitude of her sawmp home. Jason was just determined to enjoy her company as long as it lasted, he had no real set plans, not as yet beyond a likely pipe dream of real wings once more. He was nervous in truth about donning his metal prothesies, his gifted healing at certain danger of being rubbed raw again, and he doubted Wish would appreciate her syphoned healing being spoiled so soon. As it stood they lay strapped across his back, like an uncomfortable burdensome wright but not strapped on to be used, yet. He know should they part ways that it was likely that he would need to utilise them to seek habitation once more.
But even as the thought crossed his mind Jason picked up the distant sounds of merriment, eyes drawn towards the sound and picked up the flickering of flames in the dimming light of Solara's dusk.
The prospect of, what was ever increasingly apparent, a party excited Jason, even though he failed to notice the distinct lack of such from his saviour. Yet her steps did not falter as she led him onwards, till before long they broke free of the marsh trees lining a wide expanse of beach. No sign of habitation there was nonetheless a number of Opexo gathered around multiple roaring bonfires upon the sands, tents scattered around as brightly coloured males seemed to be seeking partners to dance. Now this was something that Jason could do! With the agility of one born for the skies, he knew he could dance, feet and arms to flow over the ground and around his chosen partner in a seamless dance of simple pleasure for the sake of it. Hurrying up beside his companion, he bent to take her hand, catching her eyes, Originarus she was beautiful, Jason asked with a broad innocent smile, "may I have the pleasure of this dance Wish?"
For an instant he thought he had done wrong, the widening of her gaze almost suggesting she was surprised and going to decline. Already he had learned that directness was more appreciated by her, he did not relent, instead squeezing her had engulfed by his much larger one. "Just this one. Forget any of these others, just focus on each other." He assumed the cause of her reticence was the company now suddenly abounding around them, definitely not what she was used to in her quite little corner of the world. Jason on the other hand had no clue of the meaning of this gathering, of the pairings moving gracefully around them. Not one to give much away with her expressions, for once she tilted her head up towards the earnest gaze of the giant Opexo before her, Steven joining in and appearing to rest on her shoulder ad all four eyes locked upon Jason, "and is that your...Wish?" If at all possible the smile upon his face stretched wider still, almost splitting his handsome features in two. Hand squeezed with excitement as he shrugged his wings aside, the cause of their meeting discarded now as irrelevant, as he tugged her towards the nearest inferno, "yes! Most certainly my Wish."
The pale pink light of Ketera rose to light them with its glow, one would almost say the healer in her was receiving the blessing from her patron. As the pair joined in their dance, the sounds of all else fading to nothing, just the two of them, eyes and bodies locked in continuous movement, breath increasing as they didn't seem to be able, or want to, stop. Jason's words all too prophetic in their accuracy.
