Sintecs do not have many rituals; however, their traditions are passed down through families. Most times, these are similar to each other but suited for their specific environment. During the spring solstice, for instance, Earthen Sintec prepares a feast and waits for the northern lights and planets to be seen amongst the stars. Water Sintec help deep sea giants give birth, cementing another year of protection as they swim together. Fire Sintec enter the volcano's heart, harvesting crystals that take a year to form, heating them in a large bonfire to create delicacies.

Sintec’s mate for life, cementing their love. They do not care about gender or sexuality and can create life with their technology. Although expensive for those who normally would not be able to carry (due to same-sex partnerships, genders, or the male wanting to give birth instead of the female), options are always available. Sintec, however, are only able to give birth once mated and a bonding ceremony has taken place.

Each Sintec pair decides how they would like to pair, the ceremony being their choice. However, a certified doctor is the one who places the markings on the back of their neck. These implants are modified to appear like the heart of the other Sintec, attaching to the nerves. It will glow the same color(s) as their partners, going out when they die. Removal of these implants is dangerous, usually causing death or paralysis. Those who wish to remarry or divorce their partners have to go to black market doctors, removing the current implants to get new ones installed.
